
Rafaela Lamêgo

Rafaela is a Master’s candidate in Criminal Law at the University of São Paulo (USP), a postgraduate student in Economic Criminal Law at PUC-MG, and holds a law degree from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA).
She is a specialist in Criminal Investigation Topics from the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences (IBCCRIM), where she is also a member. She has an international diploma, having earned a Certificate of Attendance in the Course of Public International Law from The Hague Academy of International Law.
Rafaela also has international experience, having worked as an Assistant Researcher to Judge Iulia Motoc at the International Criminal Court. In the field of research, she was also affiliated with Brazil’s National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) for three years and developed an award-winning study, recognized by the Institute of Criminal Sciences (ICP), on the simultaneous attribution of corruption and money laundering.
