
Débora Perez
Founding Partner
Débora Perez has over 20 years of experience in criminal law. She holds a postgraduate degree in Corporate Criminal Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and a specialization in Economic Criminal Law from the Institute of European and Economic Criminal Law at the University of Coimbra. She earned her Law degree from PUC-SP and is a member of the Brazilian Institute for the Defense of the Right to Defense (IDDD) and the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences (IBCCRIM).
Débora was a partner at Tofic Simantob, Perez e Ortiz for 18 years, where she worked on some of the firm’s most high-profile cases. She has extensive experience representing clients in complex and high-impact criminal investigations. Her practice includes advising companies, financial institutions, and associations, with a strong focus on leading internal corporate investigations.
She has been repeatedly recognized by publications such as The Legal 500, Chambers and Partners, and Análise Mulher.
